Media that Sells

While working as Director of Operations for The Business Card Exchange beginning in 2002, I started the brand: Exchange Media.

The Business Card Exchange focused on Business/Advertising Card Placement at various high traffic venues; Exchange Media focused on Networking, Public Relations, The Exchanger (a Printed Newsletter) and a Website Directory.

Later the company split and I became the owner of my first business, which was named, "Media that Sells."

We re-branded in 2009 with a new logo and theme.
I wanted to incorporate my Christian faith into my works, while creatively teaching my clients to "Fish Where the Fish Are."

*Please note the phone number and email is out of date on these ads.
The Media that Sells business model, from 2004-2009, was a media buying service for small businesses that selected, Place-Based Media options. (Also referred to as Out of Home Advertising). You may be familiar with the of advertising that is "placed" in front of you.  In fact, you may have seen our client’s advertising banners at local YMCA Family Center, Baseball Fields, Gymnastics and Bowling Centers.

Business Card Advertising Tips

1. Image is everything: Cards that are more appealing to the eye catch consumer’s attention and they are more likely to pick them up.

2. Use both sides: Printing on both sides has numerous advantages. This can give you 2 business cards for the price of one and using the backside of a business card gives you more space to provide detailed information that makes your card worth holding on to.

3. Make it an advertisement: Use your business card as an opportunity to advertise your company. Place an incentive or call to action on your card to entice people to come check out your services. Include things that will help sell your company to consumers incorporate services you offer, how to get a hold of you, hours of operation, and what’s in it for them if they contact you.

4. Keep your card visible: Keeping your card visible to consumers is important in catching their attention and keeping them interested. Services like The Business Card Exchange ensure that your business card is visible to potential clients at all times. Unlike throw away advertisements, The Business Card Exchange gives consumers the opportunity to come back to your card or refer their friends to your card at one of our Community Resource Boards. This guarantees your company will always be visible to consumers.
