Boone High NJROTC is awarded “Most Improved” unit in the Nation Unit logged a whopping 9,000 community service hours September 10, 2012 – Boone High School began the new school year with a national honor. The school’s Navy Junior Reserve Officers Training Corp (NJROTC) was awarded the “Most Improved” NJROTC unit in the nation. The unit will be recognized for this national award at the Central Florida Navy League luncheon on Tuesday, September 11, 2012 at the Radisson Hotel, 1724 N.
